When a mold is removed from the machine, it is standard operating procedure to send it to the mold shop to be dismantled for cleaning, lubrication and repairs of any condition which may result in the production of a marginal or unacceptable part.  This procedure was adopted in order to guarantee molds run more efficiently and to produce quality parts according to customer specifications.
